There’s something about fall that makes me want to make everything around me feel a little cosier. Even my phone. A few years ago, I remember changing my wallpaper on a random October evening because my usual bright background suddenly felt completely wrong. I wanted something warmer. Something that looked like chunky sweaters, cinnamon, old … Read more
The first year I decorated my window boxes for fall, I honestly had no idea what I was doing. I remember standing outside with a couple of tired-looking mums, a few mini pumpkins, and a bag of potting soil, wondering how people managed to make their window boxes look so effortlessly beautiful. Mine looked more … Read more
I have a confession: I’ve rearranged my living room more times than I’d like to admit. There’s something about that room that never feels quite finished. My shopping list was filled with practical things like storage bins, bedding, and desk organizers. A rug? That felt like one of those “maybe later” purchases. Then … Read more
I still remember standing in the middle of my bedroom a few weeks before college started, surrounded by piles of things I thought I absolutely needed. Extra blankets? Three lamps? A giant bean bag? At the time, everything felt essential. Then move-in day happened. The reality hit pretty quickly. Dorm rooms are tiny. Really tiny. … Read more
I still remember the first time I opened my dorm closet after moving in. I honestly laughed for a second because… that was it? After spending weeks packing clothes, shoes, blankets, random snacks, and way too many “just in case” items, I was somehow expected to fit everything into a space barely wider than my … Read more
