Cristiano Ronaldo is on the verge of signing a new ‘super-contract’ with Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, according to reports, which will pay him a handsome sum per second.

According to the report, he will take home £3.19 million (€3.8m) per week at Al Nassr, which equates to approximately £460,000 per day, £19,166 per hour and approximately £5.3p per second.

He added: “I want to be successful, I want to leave a legacy. This is what I want. That’s why I’m here. They help me, I help them. We are one unit.

“I take a piece of my cake, take a piece of the Netflix cake, Saudis, everyone. We work for a bigger cake, it’s a win-win.”
