The 19-year-old England international has risen from an overall rating of 62 in EA FC 24 to a new rating of 77 in the space of just 12 months. Mainoo has been changed from a bronze card in Ultimate Team to gold, with 74 pace, 66 shooting, 74 passing, 81 dribbling, 73 defending, and 72 physical attributes.
In an interview with the official Premier League YouTube channel, Mainoo gave his honest opinion on his new rating, saying: "I think I am a decent dribbler. I think it’s fair."
Mainoo’s rating reflects his impressive performances for both Manchester United and England this season. However, Manchester United fans believe he should be rated higher, with some fans calling for a higher rating.
"Could have been 80 at least, it’s a disrespect," one fan posted on Twitter. "Should be at least 80 tbh. I know it’s his second year at senior club but what he showed for both club and country, he deserves more than this," added another.
While a third wrote: "We all know if he was playing for Madrid or Barca, he would have had 90." And a fourth wrote: "77 feels way too low for him."
