IShowSpeed’s Wildest Encounter Yet: Meeting Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Milan
American streamer IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Watkins, has had his fair share of surreal experiences, but his latest encounter with none other than Zlatan Ibrahimovic takes the cake. The 19-year-old content creator, who has gained a massive following of over 26.1 million subscribers on YouTube, has been on a whirlwind tour of Europe, visiting Sweden, Poland, and Norway, where he was mobbed by hundreds of fans as he attempted to escape a shop.
Speed, known for his entertaining live streams, also live-streamed a watchalong of last week’s Euro 2024 quarter-final between France and Portugal, where he burst into tears as his idol Cristiano Ronaldo was knocked out of the competition.
But it was his chance meeting with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the AC Milan dressing room that took the cake. "Finally I get to meet you," the Swede said, mispronouncing Speed’s name throughout their meeting. The two then engaged in a hilarious one-vs-one battle, with Speed getting floored after being shoulder-barged by the former Manchester United and PSG striker.
The pair later shared a taxi ride around the city, where Zlatan was asked if he prefers Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. You can imagine the kind of banter that ensued!

He even showed goalkeeper Andre Onana the meme of him being compared to the content creator.
