Zimbabwean Passenger Arrested With Rs 60 Crore Worth Of Drugs At Mumbai Airport

Mumbai:

The Customs Air Intelligence Unit recovered approximately Rs 60 million worth of drugs from a Zimbabwean passenger at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, the Mumbai customs officer said.

The drugs were hidden inside the rolling suitcase and two file folders, the Mumbai customs official added.

He was found to be carrying 7,006 grams of yellowish powder tested to be ‘heroin’ and 1,480 grams of white crystal granules tested to contain a combination of ‘heroin’ and ‘Methamp’, according to the customs officer.
