We simulated England’s Euro 2032 squad using Football Manager and the results are absolutely stunning

England’s Euro 2032 Squad Predicted: The Future Looks Bright (But Also a Little Weird)

As England prepares to take on Spain in the Euro 2024 final, fans are already looking ahead to the next tournament. But what will the Three Lions’ squad look like in eight years’ time? We used Football Manager to simulate England’s Euro 2032 squad, and the results are… interesting.

First up, the manager. According to FM, the man in charge will be none other than Mikel Arteta, currently plying his trade at Arsenal. Who knows, maybe he’ll even bring some of his current players along for the ride.

Goalkeepers

Aaron Ramsdale, who’s had a resurgence at Arsenal, is the number one goalkeeper. Behind him, we have two computer-generated players, Reece Jones and Gerry Duggan. Not exactly the most reassuring sight, but hey, it’s the future, right?

Defenders

Levi Colwill, the Chelsea youngster, starts at left-back, while Trent Alexander-Arnold is the first-choice right-back. Rico Lewis, another Man City prospect, makes the cut, as does Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite. Trevoh Chalobah and Callum Doyle, both Chelsea players, also feature.

Midfielders

Mason Mount, who’s still going strong at 35, is a key player in the midfield. Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, and Phil Foden are all still mainstays, while Michael Olise, who’s switched allegiance from France to England, makes his debut. Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott, both Liverpool players, are included, but don’t get a single minute of game time.

Forwards

Bukayo Saka and Marcus Rashford are still terrorizing defenses, while Amario Cozier-Duberry, an Arsenal youngster, makes his senior debut. Shaqueel van Persie, the son of Robin van Persie, is the backup striker. Jonathan Rowe, a Norwich prospect, completes the forward line.

Results

Unfortunately, England’s Euro 2032 campaign ends in heartbreak, as they lose to France 3-2 in the final. Kylian Mbappe, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Randal Kolo Muani score for Les Bleus, while Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford find the net for England.
