And it was the same for Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma too. The diva recently opened up about one of her culinary tales in her latest Instagram reels. She has posted a video rehearsing the process of making jam. According to the caption, the video was shot during the 2020 lockdown. The footage may be old, but we loved seeing Anushka in her kitchen.

The video starts when Anushka Sharma goes to his garden to pick fresh tomatoes to make jam at home. Then she takes her basket of tomatoes into the kitchen and washes them under the tap. She slices the tomatoes, blanches them, and then transfers them to ice water for a while. After removing the skins from the tomatoes, she starts dicing them. She puts the diced tomatoes in a pan and cooks them for a while. With a lot of sugar, a little salt and other seasonings, her jam is almost complete. For a final touch, Anushka add lemon juice to the jam. It also shows how she and her family savored the jam with sourdough bread.

Anushka wrote about the dish in her title. “I remember the shutdown of 2020 when I had seen too many food blogs, I decided to record this video and I thought that the coronavirus would be gone by 2021.”
