The Commission of Inquiry has documented bombings, multiple executions, torture and abuse, and sexual violence in civilian areas.

The United Nations Commission of Inquiry in Ukraine said on Friday that “war crimes” had been committed in the country since the Russian invasion last February.

“Based on the evidence collected by the commission, it was concluded that war crimes were committed in Ukraine,” said the body’s chairman, Eric Mosse, during the first oral presentation, which included Russian bombings in civilian areas, multiple executions, torture and abuse, and sexual violence.
