Twitter said on Friday it had fixed a software problem on its microblogging website that had disrupted services for several thousand of its users. Previously, Twitter had said in its status page which was facing a high number of application programming interface bugs, a set of protocols for building and integrating application software.
“We’ve fixed a technical bug that was preventing timelines from loading and tweets from posting,” the company said in a tweet.

More than 40,000 users had reported interruption of service in fall detector, a website that tracks outages by collecting status reports from various sources, including bugs submitted by users on its platform. Around 2000 users in India reported the problem in Downdetector around midnight on Friday. The complaints said that users were unable to use Twitter in Android Y iOS as well as through a web browser.
some users in Reddit had complained about being disconnected from their Twitter account, while others said they were unable to send or retrieve tweets.
Twitter also had a blackout last month. The company admitted fixed the issue and announced its fix shortly after it was reported by some affected users and Downdetector. In addition to Twitter, some users had problems accessing counterattack, Roblox, TrelloY Twitch due to different cuts. User reports also indicate issues with Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V or GTA 5).
