Jermaine Jenas Sacked by BBC Over Workplace Conduct Allegations
The BBC has made the decision to terminate the contract of former footballer and TV presenter Jermaine Jenas, citing allegations of workplace conduct issues. The 41-year-old, who has been a popular face on BBC shows such as Match of the Day and The One Show, has been taken off air and his future at the corporation remains uncertain.

After some immediate routine enquiries the decision was taken to take him off air, and terminate his contract," the source said.
Jenas has been left to deny the allegations, claiming that there are "two sides to every story". In a statement, he expressed his disappointment and frustration, saying "Right now I can’t talk about it. I can tell you I’m not happy – there are two sides to every story – and I’m going to be speaking with my lawyers on the issue."
The BBC’s new Director of Sport, Alex Kay-Jelski, has been heavily involved in the investigation and has reportedly been adamant that the corporation’s new code of conduct will not tolerate any form of misconduct.
