Tacna. The regional government candidate for the Tacneñista Flags movementFernando Martorell Sobero, presented his government plan last Wednesday and announced that he will grant loans to micro-entrepreneurs each year, for the value of 19 million soles.
He explained that his initiative called “Tacna Compite”, and which will serve small merchants and street vendors, who were unable to access credit during the first two years of the pandemic.
He also announced that to access the credits, the beneficiaries will have to have a business plan, which they can prepare with the advice of the regional government. Mortgage guarantees will not be requested, nor will the credit history of the applicants be taken into account.
He assured that the budget of the regional government and the regulations allow this type of financial initiatives.
