Sydney recently revealed that she asked for some of Cassie’s nude scenes to be removed. Euphoria.

“There are times when Cassie was supposed to be shirtless and she would say to Sam, ‘I really don’t think that’s necessary here,'” he said at the time. “He was like, ‘Okay, we don’t need it.'”
She continued: “I never felt like Sam pushed me or was trying to include a nude scene on an HBO show. When I didn’t want to do it, he didn’t force me.”
But not all of Sydney’s experiences have been so positive, and she admitted that some of her previous sessions left her feeling “disgusting.”
“I’ve had experiences where I want to go home and completely rub myself off because I feel gross,” Sydney said. “I didn’t feel comfortable with my co-star or the crew, and I just didn’t feel like my character would be doing it.”
He added that he “didn’t feel like [she] was able to speak” and express his concerns at the time.
Now, in a new interview, Sydney has confessed that she feared she had “done too much” by watching some of her nude scenes. She also mentioned the “double standards” faced by women in the industry.
Talking about his 2021 movie the voyeursSydney said Cosmopolitan: “When I saw the voyeurs for the first time, I wondered if I had done too much. I researched celebrities who have done nude scenes, trying to make myself feel better.”
“There are hour-long compilations of world-famous male actors with nude scenes that win Oscars and are praised for that work,” he continued. “But the moment a woman does it, she degrades… There’s a double standard and I really hope I can play a small role to change that.”
Sydney also said that she doesn’t feel like she’s looking at her own naked body when she watches the scenes because she’s “so disconnected” from her characters.
“When I get tagged at Cassie’s or Pippa’s the voyeurs nudes, it feels like looking at her nudes,” she explained. Not Sydney nudes. When you shoot one of these scenes, she’s so technical and so unromantic.”
This is not the first time Sydney has addressed how actresses are treated when shown naked on camera, and she has previously suggested that the reason her performance in Euphoria The first season did not get more praise due to these scenes.
“I am very proud of my work in Euphoria. I thought it was a great performance.” she said. “But nobody talks about it because I got naked. do the white lotus and suddenly the critics are paying attention.”
“People are loving me. They’re saying, ‘Oh my God, what is he going to do now?’” she observed. “I was like, ‘Didn’t you see that in Euphoria? Didn’t you see that in The Handmaid’s Tale?'”
Sydney is not alone Euphoria star to talk about filming nude scenes, with Alexa Demie, who plays Maddy, admitting she found them “hard.”
She said fashion:: “When I read the script I was like this, everything makes sense and I want to do it. The nudity was… it was hard for me because, you know, I don’t really… I just don’t feel comfortable like that publicly. So it was difficult for me.”
Alexa added: “But definitely, like I said, it took me out of my comfort zone, and after I did it, I looked at it and it’s just… It’s not that big of a deal.”
