Roy Keane’s latest rant about people parking on double yellow lines might be one of his funniest yet

Roy Keane Unleashes Fierce Rant About Parking Pirates and Pet Peeves

Roy Keane is no stranger to controversy, and his latest outburst has got fans in stitches. The Irish football legend recently joined the guys on Stick to Football: The Overlap Special, brought to you by Sky Bet, and shared his views on a few of his pet peeves. Top of the list? Parking pirates who think they can do whatever they want, just because they’re willing to fork out a fine.

Keane, 52, got animated about people who park wherever they please, double yellow lines or disabled bays, and then simply take the ticket because they can afford to pay it. "It’s rude – we should slash their tyres," he declared. "It’s so rude, parking where they want – it’s arrogant." When Gary Neville and Ian Wright asked if he’s ever had to deal with such individuals, Keane confessed to taking matters into his own hands.

"I just pull it out," he revealed. "Not off, just pull it up so when they get back to the car, they have to get out and fix them." And if they’ve parked really badly, he’s been known to play a prank on them, like moving their wing mirrors to the other side so they have to get out to adjust them.

Neville joined in with a few of his own pet peeves, ranging from Avanti trains to barbecues. He started with a strong dislike for the London trains, saying they’re unreliable and the staff aren’t happy when you speak to them. "It’s just not good," he summed up.

Next, he lamented the joys of barbecues. "They’re overrated," he claimed. "The sequencing of what happens is someone will be over there cooking, they’ll bring food over, you’re eating it while they’re cooking, and everything isn’t ready at the right time. It’s an unsociable experience for eating."

Finally, Neville got on his high horse about shoehorns. "If you need a shoehorn for a pair of shoes, why would you buy them?" he asked rhetorically. "You try and get it on, and you can’t – if you can’t get it on first time and you need a shoehorn to get a shoe on, I’m sorry, but that’s not right. Get rid of shoehorns!"
