Romeo Beckham Trades Boots for Catwalk: The Beckham Heir is Pursuing a Fashion Career
In a shocking move, Romeo Beckham, the 22-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham, has decided to leave his football career behind and focus on his true passion: fashion. The young Beckham had been training with Premier League club Brentford, but he has now opted to hang up his boots and pursue a career in the fashion industry.
Romeo, who has previously modeled for top brands like Burberry and Yves Saint Laurent, has always had a keen interest in fashion. He even landed a £1.2million deal to be the face of Puma in 2021. With his experience in the fashion world, it’s no surprise that he has decided to take the leap and make a career out of it.
Despite being offered a new contract with Brentford, Romeo has decided to focus on his fashion career, which he believes is where his true passion lies. According to a source, "Romeo has decided to hang up his football boots and devote his time to his fashion career. He has loved his time at Brentford, but needs to focus his attention on fashion, which is where his passion lies."
Romeo’s decision to leave football behind is a significant one, but he won’t be completely leaving Brentford behind. He will continue to work with the Brentford Penguins, a team for children aged five and above with Down’s Syndrome.
Brentford’s director of football Phil Giles praised Romeo for his humble nature and work ethic, saying, "Had he come in and been like, ‘I’m a Beckham,’ that would have been a disaster for us. But he is not like that at all. He’s like his dad in that he is a humble guy with a good work ethic and wants to do extra hours on the training round."
This move is a significant departure from the traditional Beckham family path, but Romeo is determined to forge his own path. With his experience in fashion and his passion for the industry, he is well-equipped to succeed in this new career.
