Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin has given an insight into his unconventional wedding day attire, revealing that he opted for a humble tracksuit instead of a traditional suit. The 25-year-old Ukrainian shot-stopper, who has been at the Santiago Bernabeu since 2018, tied the knot with his wife Anastasia Tamazova in 2021, and his decision to ditch the suit has sparked curiosity.
Lunin has established himself as a key player for Los Blancos, playing 48 times for the club and racking up his most appearances in the 2024/25 season. He even played 31 times for Real Madrid in Carlo Ancelotti’s absence, thanks to Thibaut Courtois’s injury.
So, why did Lunin choose to wear a tracksuit on his special day? According to an interview with Marca, comfort was a major factor. "We didn’t feel comfortable in the suit environment, with everyone watching, talking in front of a lot of people," he said. "My wife and I decided on it, and it was easier, very comfortable, and a special day nonetheless."

They even have plans for a dream wedding day ceremony in the future, which sounds like a real treat. "In the future, we will do something nicer," Lunin revealed, hinting at a beachside ceremony with his loved ones.
