Premier League player owned by 90% of FPL players tells everyone to transfer him OUT of their teams ahead of game week four

Premier League Star Urges FPL Managers to Ditch Him Ahead of GW4

One of the most popular picks in Fantasy Premier League has taken an unconventional approach by advising managers to transfer him out of their teams ahead of this weekend’s fixtures. Aleksander Isak, the Newcastle United striker, is currently owned by over 90% of FPL managers, making him the most popular player in the entire game.

Speaking to Fotbollsmorgon after his Nations League match against Estonia, Isak revealed that he doesn’t play FPL himself, citing that it could impact his performances on the pitch. He jokingly stated that if he did play, he would become "too selfish" on the pitch.

Isak, who has scored 36 goals in 71 appearances for Newcastle United since his summer 2022 move from Real Sociedad, has already returned 16 points across the Magpies’ three opening fixtures this season. He’s showing no signs of slowing down, having scored an assist on the opening day against Southampton and a goal, along with three bonus points, in the match against Tottenham Hotspur.

Despite his impressive form, Isak is urging FPL managers to transfer him out of their teams, stating that it’s better for him to score goals when they’re not playing him. "No, it’s much better to hear when people have transferred me out and then score two goals. That’s a much better feeling," he said.

Over 10 million people play FPL every year, with more than nine million managers having included Isak in their teams this season. With Isak’s incredible form, it’s understandable why so many managers are keen to keep him in their teams. However, his unusual advice may raise some eyebrows among FPL enthusiasts.

As the new season unfolds, it’ll be interesting to see if Isak’s form continues, and whether his FPL owners will take his advice on board. If you’re an FPL manager considering transferring Isak out of your team, now might be the time to make the switch.
