NADAL TAKES SWEDISH OPEN THRONE! Beats Borg, sets up showdown with Norrie

Rafael Nadal Returns to Singles Action with Victory Over Bjorn Borg’s Son Leo

Rafa Nadal is back in the swing of things, and we couldn’t be more excited! The tennis legend returned to singles action at the Swedish Open, taking down Bjorn Borg’s son Leo in a thrilling match. Nadal, who’s been focusing on his clay-court game ahead of the Paris Olympics, showed no signs of rust, defeating Leo 6-3, 6-4.

The 38-year-old Spaniard was playing his first singles match since an opening-round loss to Alexander Zverev at the French Open in May. He’s been practicing hard to get back to his best, and it’s clear he’s made significant progress. Nadal will face a stiffer test next against British number two Cameron Norrie, who defeated Jozef Kovalik in the first round.
