Michael Olise leaves fans confused after refusing to give post-match interview despite Bayern Munich masterclass

Olise’s Post-Match Antics Have Fans Talking

Michael Olise, the 22-year-old French winger, made headlines after his impressive display for Bayern Munich against Werder Bremen. But it wasn’t just his skills on the pitch that got fans talking – it was his reaction to a post-match interview.

Olise, who signed with Bayern in a £50.8 million deal this summer, was one of the standout stars in the Premier League last season, producing a string of impressive displays for Crystal Palace. He was linked with several top clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal, but ultimately chose to join the German giants.

On Saturday, Olise scored twice and assisted twice as Bayern thrashed Bremen 5-0. After the match, he was spotted conducting a post-match interview alongside young star Jamal Musiala. However, according to BILD reporter Michel Schroer, Olise was not too keen to talk.

Taking to social media, Schroer shared a screenshot of the interview, saying: "Michael Olise doesn’t want to give an interview. But Jamal Musiala encourages him, stands in front of the camera with him at the end and gives the answers for Olise."

Fans were quick to react, with one tweeting: "He hates interviews." Another joked: "Does his talking on the pitch." A third fan added: "Olise just wants to play football and nothing else."

However, not everyone was negative about Olise’s post-match antics. Someone wrote: "He’ll get more comfortable with the media. I’m assuming there is a language barrier too which can be rough. Musiala really acting like a leader here makes me so proud."

A fifth commenter said: "Had to get some nonchalance back after showing emotions on the first goal." Another fan quipped: "The king doesn’t need to say words. He speaks when he plays."

Bayern boss Vincent Kompany had high praise for Olise, saying: "He’s a special talent. It’s a luxury at Bayern to have so many good players. Michael did very well. His start at FC Bayern couldn’t be much better. He has to keep going this way.

"I haven’t got the feeling that he’s a player who feels much pressure. He just enjoys football."
