Contreras said the game will be hosted by San Pedro Sula instead of the country’s capital, Tegucigalpa, because of security measures taken at the international airport and stadium to properly welcome Inter Miami to Honduras.
“The games cannot take place in Tegucigalpa because they do not have an international airport and San Pedro Sula has one, so we are coordinating everything related to security, there will be a separate hangar for the arrival of their aircraft and another Part is also security in the stadium, where the press conference is going to be held,” said the mayor of San Pedro Sula.
