The top three most valuable players have remained the same with Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé still tied on €180 million. Phil Foden’s €20m rise was the biggest of any player in the top twenty list and he’s tied alongside England colleague Bukayo Saka at €130m. Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz was rewarded for his stunning form with a €10m upgrade to join fellow German sensation Jamal Musiala. We’ve provided the lowdown on the top ten most valuable players in the world after our intermediary update.

Top 10 most valuable players in the world

1. Jude Bellingham – Real Madrid – €180m

Bellingham’s stunning start to life in Spain earned him a €30m update in the winter update to become the joint most valuable player in the world, alongside Haaland and Mbappé – players of equal value are ranked by age. The England international’s attacking numbers have dropped off slightly but he’s still provided an incredible 29 goal contributions in 31 games.

2. Erling Haaland – Man City – €180m

Haaland’s valuation remained the same with the Man City striker scoring 29 goals in 34 games this season. The Norwegian international hit 50 goals during his first campaign in England as City won the treble. Pep Guardiola’s men are in contention to repeat that achievement and Haaland’s goals will be vital to their prospects.

3. Kylian Mbappé – PSG – €180m

Mbappé’s future has been the biggest transfer story in football across the last few years but it will reach a conclusion this summer. The 25-year-old will depart PSG when his contract expires at the end of the season and it would be a massive surprise if he doesn’t end up at Real Madrid. Mbappé has 38 goals in 37 games for PSG this season and he could end his time in Paris on a high as the Ligue 1 champions have a good chance of making the Champions League final.

4. Vinicius JR – Real Madrid – €150m

The Brazilian’s market value remained at €150m after the La Liga update. Vinicius has enjoyed an impressive season for Real Madrid with 26 goal contributions in 28 games. The winger’s market value has increased by €115m since moving to Real in 2018 and he’s one of the best players in the world.

5. Bukayo Saka – Arsenal – €130m

Saka was rewarded for his excellent form with Arsenal with a €10m rise and he remains the second most valuable English player, alongside Foden. Saka is the jewel in Arsenal’s crown as an academy graduate and his attacking numbers are really impressive. Saka has provided 29 goal contributions in 37 games to lead Arsenal’s title charge.

6. Phil Foden – Man City – €130m

Foden has banished the inconsistency that held him back earlier in his career to become one of the best players in England. Foden has scored 18 goals for City and he’s delivered in the big games for Guardiola. Foden and Saka are both valued at €130m and they’ll be vital to England’s prospects at Euro 2024.

7. Florian Wirtz – Bayer Leverkusen – €110m

Wirtz enjoyed a €10m upgrade to move in the top ten most valuable players in the world. The 20-year-old has been in scintillating form and he’s now the joint most valuable player in the Bundesliga alongside Jamal Musiala and Harry Kane. Wirtz has 28 goal contributions with Bayer destined to win their first ever Bundesliga title.

8. Jamal Musiała – Bayern Munich – €110m

Alongside Kane, Musiala has been the shining light of a disappointing season for Bayern Munich. The former Chelsea youth starlet has incredible ability and he’s registered 19 goal contributions.

9. Declan Rice – Arsenal – €110m

Rice has been a revelation since moving to Arsenal and he’s added solidity to their central midfield. The former West Ham captain has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season and he wore the armband for England in their recent draw with Belgium.

10. Victor Osimhen – Napoli – €110m

Osimhen has failed to reach the heights of last season with Napoli struggling in Serie A. The Nigerian scored 31 goals as they won the title last campaign but he’s currently on just 13 goals. Osimhen’s market value has remained the same and he has admirers across Europe and he’s expected to leave Napoli this summer.
