The sign outside read "Candles, Crystals, Witchy Supplies," and Chiles simply had to investigate.
"I mentioned this place to a couple of friends who live and work in that area, and they looked at me funny," he recalled. "What? A witches’ supply shop? In Colley Gate? Are you sure?" But Chiles was adamant, and he returned to the shop a few days later to meet the enchanting Juliet O’Brien, who runs the store.
Juliet is a delightful witch who has restored Chiles’ faith in the dark arts. She told him that proper witches only use their powers for good, debunking the common misconception that witches are evil. Chiles has been reading up on the subject in a book called "Basic Witches," which he bought from Juliet, and he’s become a convert.
"Witches are a force only for good," Chiles declared. "I’ve been reading up on them in a book I bought from Juliet, and I’m liking what I’m finding. I’m going back soon to pick up some crystals, seriously." It seems that Chiles’ eyes have been opened to a new world, and he’s hooked.
