India starter Smriti Mandhana gained two places to move up to fifth place, while her captain Mithali Raj retained her second place among batsmen in the latest ICC women’s ODI ranking on Tuesday.
Mandhana has 710 rating points in her kitty, while Raj has 738.
Alyssa Healy from Australia remained in first place with 742 points. Other Australians Beth Mooney (719) and Amy Satterthwaite (717) are third and fourth respectively.
Among bowlers, veteran Indian pacemaker Jhulan Goswami retained her second place with 727 rating points, behind Australian Jess Jonassen (773).
Australia’s Ellyse Perry topped the all-rounder’s list again after putting on a good show in the second ODI of her three-match series against England.
The 31-year-old hit a consistent 40 from 64 balls and took three from 12 in seven overs to win the Man of the Match award in Melbourne. The performance helped her earn 47 qualifying points to overtake England’s Nat Sciver (360) and take the number one position.
India’s Deepti Sharma is unchanged in fourth place with 299 points, while Goswami (251) is in 10th.
