Man Utd suffer two more huge injury blows after worst Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund news possible

Manchester United in Crisis as Injury Woes Continue to Mount

The Red Devils’ preseason preparation has been hit by a pair of unwanted injury setbacks, with Rasmus Hojlund and Leny Yoro set to miss extended periods of time. The news came just hours before United’s friendly clash with Real Betis, where two more stars were forced off with injuries.

United’s hopes of a successful campaign were already dented by the loss of Hojlund and Yoro, who were forced to watch from the sidelines as the squad took on Betis in California. The duo’s injuries – a hamstring problem for Hojlund and a foot issue for Yoro – are expected to keep them sidelined for at least six and three months, respectively.

But the bad news didn’t stop there. In the 62nd minute of the match, Marcus Rashford was forced off with what looked like an ankle injury. The England international was replaced by Hannibal Mejbri, who came on to make his mark on the game. Rashford’s injury was a concerning one, and United will be holding their breath until they get some news on the severity of the issue.

Adding insult to injury, Antony was also forced off in the 87th minute with an unspecified problem. The Brazilian winger was replaced by Sam Mather, who came on to help see out the game.

Despite the setbacks, United were able to secure a 3-2 victory over Betis, thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford, Amad Diallo, and Casemiro. However, the win was overshadowed by the concern over the injuries to some of their key players.

In a post-match interview, Diallo expressed his satisfaction with the win, but was coy on the extent of the injuries to his teammates. "I feel very good. I think we were ready for the game and as I said yesterday, I feel like everybody in training was focused and today I saw that my team-mates were focused. We are happy for the win."

United will be looking to get back to full strength ahead of their meeting with Liverpool this weekend, followed by the FA Community Shield against Manchester City. With their squad already under pressure, these injuries could be the final straw for Erik ten Hag’s men.
