Man Utd may have dropped accidental update on Rasmus Hojlund and Leny Yoro’s fitness

Manchester United’s Pre-Season Puzzle: Can Erik Ten Hag Salvage Their Injury Crisis?

Manchester United’s pre-season is well underway, but injuries have raised concerns about the state of the Red Devils’ squad ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign. While it’s become a familiar sight, losing star players to injury before the start of the season can prove catastrophic, especially for Erik ten Hag’s side.

The news gets bleaker with Ramsus Hojlund and Leny Yoro, both of whom have sustained setbacks during the friendly loss to Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium on Saturday. Hojlund suffered an apparent hamstring issue that forced him to depart the pitch before Yoro, who only joined Lille this summer, limped off due to an ankle injury. In all honesty, it doesn’t sound like a promising sign, with fans already taking to Manchester United’s official Instagram, hoping to glean some information about the state of both stars.

Speaking to MUTV in his post-match interview, Ten Hag acknowledged the unfortunate situations by stating, "We are too short [notice]. We have to wait over 24 hours, and then hopefully, we’ll get a more accurate assessment."

We, quite frankly, can’t imagine that United fans are ecstatic with these recent developments. The side still have a few weeks until they return to competitive action against Tottenham at Old Trafford on September 16th. How crucial they deem these two attacking talents will be, no doubt has top priority for Ten Hag’s game plan.
