Manchester United Fans Worried About Tyrell Malacia’s Absence
The Red Devils have returned to pre-season training, but fans are growing increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of left-back Tyrell Malacia. The Dutch international has been absent from Manchester United’s training sessions, and his followers are taking to social media to voice their concerns.
Malacia, who joined United from Feyenoord in 2022, has been sidelined for over a year due to a lengthy knee injury. Although he made 39 appearances in his debut season, he failed to feature in any matches last term. His only appearance this year was in the FA Cup final, where he was part of the bench.
Fans are worried because Malacia was not included in any of the official photos released by the club during their pre-season training sessions. One supporter tweeted, "No picture of Malacia at Carrington today. Has he even started training?"
Others have taken to social media to express their concern, with some saying they hope he returns to fitness soon. "Feel horrible the way it’s gone for him, especially after he had a pretty successful first season. Need him back ASAP!!" wrote one fan.
Manchester United have confirmed that Malacia is still undergoing rehabilitation from his injury, with no timeframe set for his return. It’s unclear when he will be back to full fitness, but fans are holding on to hope that he will return to the pitch soon.
In better news, Luke Shaw has returned to training after being out since February. The left-back was part of England’s Euro 2024 quarterfinal win over Switzerland.
As Manchester United fans, it’s natural to be concerned about the wellbeing of our players. We’ll have to wait and see when Malacia will be back to full fitness and dominating the left flank.
