Leny Yoro Sends Heartfelt Message to Manchester United Fans After Impressive Debut Against Rangers
The transfer window has finally closed, and Manchester United have made some massive moves to strengthen their squad. One of those players, Leny Yoro, has already made a huge impression on fans with his debut against Rangers in the pre-season friendly.
The 18-year-old French centre-back joined United from Lille for an initial fee of £50 million plus £12 million in future add-ons. And judging by his performance, it’s safe to say he’s already worth every penny.
Yoro played the full first half of the match, showcasing his composure and assurance on the ball. He made a crucial tackle to stop Cyriel Dessers from getting a shot on goal, and even managed to find attacking full-back Sam Murray with a well-placed crossfield pass.
After the match, Yoro spoke to MUTV to give his thoughts on his debut, and he sent a heartfelt message to the fans. "I want to say thank you to the fans – I hope to see you soon in Old Trafford!" he said. "It was incredible. I am happy with my performance. The staff make me comfortable. For me it is really good."
Yoro also gave a glimpse into what United can expect from him in the upcoming season. "We go to America for three competitive games," he said. "The team will give everything to win them."
United’s tour of the States will be a crucial test of their mettle, with fixtures against Arsenal, Real Betis, and Liverpool lined up.
