Barcelona star Lamine Yamal once again produced a masterclass for Hansi Flick’s side against Real Betis in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.
The teenager has faced comparisons to Lionel Messi for a long time throughout his career and that is likely to continue for some time.
Yet Yamal has long admitted that his idol growing up was actually not Messi but Neymar.
And now former Barcelona star Gerard Deulofeu thinks Yamal is actually a mixture of two superstars.
Apparently impressed by Yamal he posted a message on X during the game. “Is this Neymar and Messi merging together?”.
Yamal has been in great form this season and has bounced back from his latest ankle injury with a bang. He scored against Athletic Club and Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup and then upset Betis on his return to Catalunya with Barcelona.
