Cristiano Ronaldo has hit out at the French top team by claiming the Saudi Pro League has better standards – but one of the Ligue 1 club’s media teams has issued a blistering response to the attacker’s claims.

The former United, Real Madrid and Juventus star made it clear that the Saudi Pro League is a better competition than Ligue 1 in his view and that there are no other worthwhile sides in the French top flight apart from PSG, claiming the rest of the league It is ‘over’.
