Jenas Jumps to Talksport, Fans Fume After Being Sacked by BBC Over "Inappropriate Behavior"
Just moments after being reportedly sacked by the BBC over "inappropriate behavior", former footballer Jermaine Jenas has hosted a live show on Talksport, leaving fans stunned.
The 41-year-old had been a prominent figure on Match of the Day and The One Show, but according to The Sun, he was taken off the air following an internal investigation into the complaints.
It’s been alleged that Jenas was "quietly removed from the broadcaster’s official channels" after the claims surfaced. A BBC spokesperson later confirmed that Jenas was no longer part of its presenting lineup.
But in a bizarre twist, fans noticed Jenas hosting Drive on Talksport, despite the news only just breaking. The show kicked off just 15 minutes after the report, with fans expressing their shock and disgust on social media.
"What is Jenas doing on Talksport? He’s just been sacked by the BBC for inappropriate behavior. You want this guy representing Talksport?" one fan queried.
Another suggested that Jenas had kept the news of his disciplinary action from the BBC from his Talksport bosses, while a third pointed out that the former Premier League star was making his presenting debut on the station on the same day he was let go by the BBC.
The controversy has left many fans questioning the judgment of both the BBC and Talksport, who have stood by Jenas despite the allegations.
