Title: Two Midfield Targets Manchester United Are Eyeing This Summer Transfer Window
Manchester United have been among the most active Premier League teams in the summer transfer window, and we’re expecting them to make further moves to strengthen their squad. Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has hinted that the Red Devils are targeting midfielder Manuel Ugarte from PSG, as well as Sofyan Amrabat, who spent last season on loan from Fiorentina. According to Romano, United still have an agreement with Amrabat, while Ugarte has discussed different terms with PSG.
The proposed signings come as no surprise, given United’s struggles in midfield during the previous season. With the likes of Jesse Lingard and Donny van de Beek departing, Manchester United are in dire need of midfield reinforcements. Ugarte has impressed with his performances for Galatasaray, and is known for his defensive solidity.
On the other hand, Amrabat has shown glimpses of brilliance as an attacking midfielder, and could complement United’s current crop of stars. However, some fans have expressed discontent with the potential signing, deeming him to be of limited quality.
Despite the mixed reaction among fans, there’s no denying that the likes of Ugarte and Amrabat could be valuable additions to Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s squad. United, once a force to be reckoned with, must rebuild and reinvigorate their team to challenge for Premier League and Champions League titles.
