Cristiano Ronaldo has made a cruel comment towards his ex-Real Madrid team-mate after an interview in which his gender was mentioned.
Ronaldo is one of the greatest players of all time in football, with the Portuguese player currently leading the way as the top goalscorer in the history of club and international football.
Nine years of his illustrious career were spent with Real Madrid between 2009 and 2018, where he firmly established himself as one of the top two players in world football alongside Lionel Messi.
He played alongside some of the best players on the planet at the time, his approach to football was generally highly discussed.
in one Interview with talkSPORTFormer Real teammate Raphael van der Vaart has praised Ronaldo’s work ethic – in perhaps the most bizarre way you can think of.
He said: “He never left his house!
“I always joke – Ronaldo is the only player whose penis I have never seen. He was the first player on the training pitch and the last player to leave.
“First of all, his body, wow! A machine. He was a bit ahead of his time, players are the same now. But training in the gym, food, sleep… for him it was more important than training extra hard.”
He said: “Ronaldo was incredibly selfish, if we won 6–0 and he didn’t score, he wouldn’t have been happy. When we lost but he scored twice, it was OK.”
Van der Vaart’s ‘incredibly selfish’ quote was published on a separate Instagram page – and Ronaldo decided to respond to it with a four-word comment.
He simply wrote: “Who is this boy?”

Ronaldo will turn 40 in February, but has signaled his intention to continue playing well with Al Nassr going forward, including at the 2026 World Cup.
He Said: “I just want to enjoy playing football. I’m planning my retirement, whether it’s in a year or two, I don’t know.
“I’ll be 40 soon, and as long as I feel motivated, I’ll keep going.”
