Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t hesitate when admitting the role in football he will never take

Cristiano Ronaldo Rules Out Coaching Role, Eyes Business Ventures After Retirement

Cristiano Ronaldo has opened up about his post-retirement plans, and it’s clear that coaching is not on the cards. The 39-year-old forward, who currently plays for Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, has been dropping hints about what life will look like after his trophy-laden career is over.

In a recent interview with Portuguese publication NOW, Ronaldo categorically ruled out a role in football management, stating that it’s never crossed his mind. "At the moment, I’m not thinking about being a coach of the first team or any team. It doesn’t even cross my mind, I’ve never thought about it. I don’t see my future going through that," he said.

So, what does the future hold for Ronaldo? It seems that he’s more interested in exploring business ventures than getting involved in coaching. He’s already made a foray into entrepreneurship with his bottled water business, and it’s likely that he’ll continue to diversify his portfolio.

Ronaldo’s desire to play a competitive fixture with his son, Cristiano Jr., is also a major motivator for him to continue playing. The 14-year-old is already training two years above his age in the Al Nassr academy, and Ronaldo wants to play an official match with him. "That’s his real motivation. The fact he wants to play an official match with his boy and that’s why he doesn’t give up," said former Chelsea striker Adrian Mutu, who visited Ronaldo back in May.

For now, Ronaldo has no intentions of retiring. He’s still got a fire in his belly, and he’s desperate to play at the highest level. Who knows what the future holds, but one thing’s for sure – Cristiano Ronaldo will always be a force to be reckoned with.
