At an election rally here, Shah alleged that Congress Secretary General Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, responding to a question about terrorism in an interview, said they have no time for such “useless talk.”
“On the one hand, the leader of Congress, Priyanka Gandhi, says that it is ‘fizul ki baat’ to control terrorism, on the other hand, the leader of her party, Salman Khurshid, used to say that the SIMI people caught by the explosions of Ahmedabad are innocent and should be released. He also defended them,” Shah said.
Shah alleged that the Samajwadi Party (SP) led by Akhilesh Yadav had also promised in its manifesto to release all those accused in the Sankat Mochan temple bombings and the Lucknow explosions.
All the terrorists would have been released if Allahabad High had not intervened, Shah alleged.
