According to AS, Lunin is willing to take a pay cut to become Thibaut Courtois’ back-up, making him an attractive option for Chelsea. The Ukrainian goalkeeper has impressed in his appearances for Real Madrid, and his ability to play out from the back could be a valuable asset for the Blues.
When asked about Chelsea’s transfer plans, Maresca remained tight-lipped, but did acknowledge the importance of the goalkeeper position. "The way we want to play, the goalkeeper is very, very important – one of the main positions," he said.
