Bukayo Saka joins exclusive club which only has seven members including Cristiano Ronaldo

Bukayo Saka has joined a very exclusive Premier League club alongside Cristiano Ronaldo following his brace against Burnley at the weekend.

Saka has been in sensational form for Arsenal this season, notching up 12 goals and providing seven assists in the league thus far.

His impressive performances have silenced doubts about the credibility of Mikel Arteta’s title aspirations.

Many had questioned Arsenal’s ability to challenge the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City due to the absence of a true talisman, but Saka’s contributions have proven otherwise as the Gunners sit two points of leaders Liverpool.

Despite Saka’s fine form this season, the England international has recently received some questionable criticism from Rio Ferdinand who claimed Saka was not yet a world-class player.

“I don’t think [Saka] has done it at the top level, winning trophies, I think Saka is more about, he needs the opportunity to perform at that platform, that level, consistently, and you can consider him then [as world-class],” Ferdinand told TNT Sport.

Despite having his doubters the 22-year-old has just joined a very prestigious company as he becomes just the seventh player to provide 75 Premier League goal involvements before turning 23.

Ronaldo and Saka

The Arsenal winger has 43 goals and 33 assists in the Premier League in just 159 appearances, a similar rate to what Ronaldo was achieving at Manchester United in his early years in England.
