Barcelona advisor Anric Masip, as tireless and unfairly criticized from various quarters including La Liga and comprehensive football institutions, has fiercely defended between club and President Joan Laporta.
In a clear and emotional address, Masip did not return as he accused the Barka accusing the people who misunderstood the wrong way and strongly spoke in support of the Laporta leadership and the ongoing project of the club under Hans Flicks.
On registration of Dani Olmo
Masip’s comments come at a time when Barcelona is facing investigation on several issues, including Dani Olmo’s registration and ongoing tension with Da Liga. Speaking of Olmo saga, Masip was uneven:
“Baraka Dani is following the law in the Olmo case. Everything is done correctly. There are people who change the rules every day and make it difficult to follow what they demand. It is not normal.”
He proceeded to criticize that he watches as intentionally intervention:
“It is indecent that Laliga says that players like Dani Olmo or Pau cannot play and do not work. They should focus on organizing the league – which should be very difficult already.”
Barcelona being targeted
The frustration of Masip shows a widespread feeling within the club that Barcelona is being targeted with orchestrated attacks when the team shows signs of resurrection.
“Every time we take one step forward, the information comes out that it damages the image of Barka. Fortunately, we have a President who knows when to say.”
The advisor did not tell words on public allegations against Laporta:
“Nobody wants us to win anything. Not a league, not a federation, no one. Only fans want us to win.
“We are not florentino or real Madrid. We are feeling and color.
Treable Possibility and Honey Flicks
Amidst all this, Masip remains hopeful and optimistic about the possibilities of strengthening the season of Barcelona.
“I am optimistic because the team broadcasts. Confusion is increasing, and we have a triple option. The squads are united and inspired – this is important.”
He also had shining words for the new manager Honey Flicks, which credited Laporta to make the right decision:
“Laport always wanted a flick. His humility, strategic awareness and management style are an ideal fit for the philosophy of Barka. He is really happy to be here.”
Lionel Messi Tribute
Masip also touched Lionel Messi, which clearly states that the club will ensure a proper tribute to Argentina Legend.
“There is no doubt that Messi will receive the tribute he deserves – if he wants it. Laporta did the best for the club when Messi left.
“This hurts her deeply, as their relationship was strong, but it was a difficult call that was to be made.”
In the time of pressure, Masip’s statements suggest that Barcelona’s leadership is not down.
Whether it is alleged from La Liga, the player is obvious from the registration, or the external expedition to destabilize the club, the message from within: Barka Are united, fighting back, and still dreaming big.
