Monaco advanced to the semi-finals of the Coupe de France by defeating second division Amiens 2-0 with goals from Aurelien Tchouameni and Kevin Volland.
Monaco was the big favorite and was in control at all times. Tchouameni, a France midfielder with seven caps, put Monaco in the driving seat after five minutes with a half-volley from a poorly cleared corner.
The goal buoyed the visitors, but Amiens striker Aliou Badji missed a couple of chances to level, while Chadrac Akolo had a goal disallowed for offside position.
Volland made it 2-0 from close range in the 54th on an assist from teenager Maghnes Akliouche.
Monaco were runners-up in the Coupe de France last year against Paris Saint-Germain and are chasing their first cup title since 1991.
Southern rivals Nice and Marseille meet in the Riviera city, while fourth-tier teams Bergerac and Versailles meet in the other quarter-final scheduled for Wednesday.
