Ancelotti: Brazil latest addition to Inter legend Ronaldo’s run for FA presidency
“We have to change this dynamic. Brazil has to be the protagonist in the World Cup, in the Copa America, it cannot miss participating in the Olympics. This is unacceptable for our talent.”
The elections will take place between March 2025 and 2026, and according to Gazzetta, the sooner Brazil elects a new FA president, the more likely they will have to appoint Ancelotti.
The Italian tactician had already rejected the Brazilian federation’s offer to extend his contract with Real Madrid Last year 2026.
Gazzetta says the timing is not ideal for Brazil, even if Ronaldo wins the elections next year. However, the former striker has an excellent relationship with Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez, who could play an important role in the negotiations between the parties.
