Arne Slot close to his first signing as Liverpool boss as club holds talk with Premier League star they ‘really like’, with deal moving fast

Liverpool on the Verge of Securing First Signing Under Arne Slot as Talks Continue with Premier League Star

Liverpool fans, it seems like the Reds are finally making progress in the transfer market. According to sources, the club has already held talks with a Premier League star who "really likes" Liverpool and could become the first signing under new boss Arne Slot.

The player in question is none other than Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri, a 23-year-old left-back who has impressed on the left flank last season, making 33 league appearances and scoring two goals. Slot is reportedly keen to strengthen the squad with a new left-back to provide competition for Andy Robertson, who has been a regular starter for the Reds since his transfer in 2017.

While Liverpool have yet to make any major signings this summer, it seems like Slot is keen to get business done before the transfer deadline. When asked about bringing in new players, Slot replied, "I think I said as a club like we are, we’re always looking if we can strengthen the squad but it’s not so easy to strengthen if you saw both games today. If we can, we will (strengthen the squad)."

With Liverpool set to open their new Premier League campaign against Ipswich Town on Saturday, fans are eagerly waiting to see who will join the squad. Will Ait-Nouri be the first of many new faces at Anfield? Only time will tell.
