ANANCELLATION: Real Madrid Freezing Transfers Under Ancelotti

Real Madrid Boss Carlo Ancelotti Confirms No More Signings This Summer

Real Madrid have pulled the plug on any further signings this summer, according to coach Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian boss has confirmed that the squad is complete after the arrivals of Kylian Mbappé and Endrick, while Leny Yoro opted for Manchester United instead.

Despite missing out on the French centre-back, Ancelotti is confident that his young talent can fill the gap. "We have young centre-backs like Joan, Jacobo, and Raul [Asencio] who are training and have a lot of quality," he said. "I believe we are well covered in this position."

Nacho and Rafa Marín have both departed the club, with Nacho signing for Al Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia and Marin joining Napoli. Joselu has also left, moving to Qatari side Al Gharafa. Ancelotti is confident that no other players will be leaving the club, saying, "No one will be leaving because everyone wants to stay."

The Spanish giants are already preparing for their upcoming fixtures, with a US summer tour on the horizon. They’ll face off against AC Milan on Wednesday at Soldier Field in Chicago, before taking on FC Barcelona in the Clásico on August 3 at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The tour will conclude with a match against Chelsea on August 6 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Meanwhile, Ancelotti is also coming to terms with the departure of Toni Kroos, who retired from football after Euro 2024. The German midfielder had been a key player for Madrid since 2014, but Ancelotti believes that the club has the resources to replace him. "We are missing Kroos, but we have possibilities to replace him, although in a different way because there is no player like him, with his quality. But we have many other resources."
