Man United Open to Selling Senior Players to Fund Transfer Business

Manchester United are reportedly willing to sell several senior players to free up funds for further transfer business this summer. According to a source close to the club, Erik ten Hag is keen to bring in new recruits and has identified a few players he’d be willing to let go if the right offers come in.
Two of United’s recent signings, Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro, have already arrived at Old Trafford, replacing departed stars Anthony Martial and Raphaël Varane. However, the manager wants to strengthen his squad further by signing a central midfielder, another centre-back, and a right-back.
One of the players who could be leaving Manchester is Victor Lindelof, who has one year left on his contract. The Swedish defender has struggled for consistency in recent seasons, and a move could help him regain his form. Another possible departure is Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has also been linked with a move away from the club.
Sources close to the club have told us that Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, and Antony are also available if the right offers come in. However, the possibility of Jadon Sancho leaving Manchester is less likely. Despite being reintegrated into the squad following a public fall-out with Ten Hag, Sancho has been offered to several clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, and United want a permanent deal for the winger.
Sancho has been linked with a move to PSG, but the French club are also considering AC Milan’s Rafael Leão, Athletic Club’s Nico Williams, and Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. United are under no pressure to sell Sancho, and it would take a huge offer to tempt them into letting him go.
Rasmus Højlund and Christian Eriksen both returned to training on Monday, while Marcus Rashford is set to rejoin the squad after missing the preseason friendly against Rangers due to injury.
United will head to LA for their US tour, where they’ll face Arsenal at SoFi Stadium on Saturday. Follow us on all social media platforms for more updates!
