He scored an incredible 10 goals in a single match against Liverpool and went on to net 29 goals in 17 matches for Arsenal’s under-18s. His form was replicated at international level, where he scored two goals in Denmark’s 2024 UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualification campaign.
The teenager’s decision to explore other options is likely due to a perceived lack of opportunities at Arsenal, despite his impressive CV. Manchester United, however, may provide the perfect platform for him to develop further and potentially make the transition to the first team.
With local rivals Manchester City also rumored to be in the mix, Obi-Martin is expected to weigh up his options carefully before making a decision. The youngster has already traveled to Carrington to discuss a potential move with the Red Devils, but it remains to be seen if United can convince him to join their ranks.
