Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly rolled his eyes in the dressing room when a specific star team-mate spoke up.
Ronaldo, 39, made an emotional return to United in 2021 exactly 12 years after the end of his first tenure, in which he won three Premier League titles, the 2008 Champions League and the 2004 FA Cup.

However, CR7’s second spell at Old Trafford did not go as expected and came to a dramatic end in 2022 after a bombshell interview in which he lambasted the club from top to bottom.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s illustrious 19-year career in Europe came to an end when he moved to Saudi Arabia where he joined Al-Nassr, while the Red Devils have continued to struggle ever since.
according to WireThe star forward was not shy in expressing his displeasure at the situation at the club upon his return.
And the Portugal captain did not seem very excited about making Harry Maguire his captain.
That’s why Ronaldo apparently rolled his eyes when the 31-year-old Maguire gave a team talk.
The England international lost the armband after a series of disappointing performances during the tenure of former United manager Eric ten Hag.
However, the centre-back has turned things around under new boss Ruben Amorim.
Maguire has started the last five Premier League games and convinced the Manchester giants to extend his contract by a year.

The defender was also the focal point of United’s impressive performance against rivals Liverpool two weeks ago.
In fact, Maguire almost scored the winner, which would have seen his side beat the Prem leaders 3–2 at Anfield.
The same source claims that the ex-Leicester star’s comeback has been so impressive that now “nobody in that dressing room is rolling their eyes” when he speaks as Ronaldo is “known to do”.
Man Utd ratings vs Arsenal, Maguire and Co dig deep to seal win after Dalot’s moment of madness
Manchester United made a valiant effort to reach the fourth round of the FA Cup by defeating Arsenal in a penalty shootout.
The Red Devils were forced to hold on to the Emirates after Diogo Dalot’s 61st-minute red card.
On a freezing cold afternoon in North London, SunSport’s Keelan Hughes rates and slates each United artist…
Altay Bayindir – 8
A bad punch in the air that landed the ball well for Gabriel and ended the match.
Saved himself by making a superb penalty save to keep the scores level, before brilliantly denying Declan Rice twice.
Nausair Mazraoui – 7
There was assurance of turning the ball on and off if untimely. His body was on the line as the Gunners pushed for the winner.
Matthijs Day Light – 8
Solid in defense and kept the backline well organised. The best tackle of the match was made on the goalline to deny Leandro Trossard a certain goal.
Harry Maguire – 8
Commanding in the air and made several important blocks but gave away a penalty which Arsenal missed to go ahead.
Saved from an earlier mistake as he failed to clear – the ball fell to the feet of Kai Havertz but he somehow deflected his effort wide.
Lisandro Martínez – 7
Had to be on high alert to deal with the movements of the Arsenal forwards but it was a task he managed well.
Diogo Dalot-3
Lewis-Skelley was booked for misdemeanor assault. He then committed another silly late foul on Merino when the ball was about to go out of play for his second yellow. Stupid red card.
Manuel Ugarte – 7
He was a firefighter all over the pitch for his team, although given Arsenal’s dominance he spent most of the match in his own half.
Was booked for multiple fouls just before the hour mark and was lucky to escape a red card as he was one-on-one with Havertz after the penalty incident.
Kobe Menu – 6
Lively in the middle and kept a close eye on Jorginho. Looked sharp on the ball and showed some clever touches.
Should have done better before Gabriel’s equaliser.
Alejandro Garnacho – 7
There was always an outlet on the counter, which the Red Devils desperately needed.
Taking full advantage of Gabriel’s mistake, he attacked the goal and passed to Fernandes to score.
Bruno Fernandes – 7
He was booked for throwing a trademark tantrum after claiming he was fouled on the edge of the box while taking a shot.
Showed his class with a superb first-time finish, which he bent around a defender and into the far corner.
Rasmus Hjolund – 3
He failed to provide the focal point that United desperately needed, which meant that almost every pass forward was dealt with by the Arsenal centre-halves. Lucky there was no VAR to see his apparent elbow on William Saliba, which left the Arsenal star bloodied.
Option
Amad (for Garnacho, 80 minutes) – 6
Also lively on the counter but just lacking a bit of quality – although his numbers were low every time he got the ball.
Joshua Zirkzee (for Hjolund, 80 mins) – 6
When he came on he made some very smart moves and provided presence up front at a time when United desperately needed it.
Toby Collier (For The Menu, 80 minutes) – 5
Showed plenty of energy but lacked quality in some areas.
Tyrrell Malacia (for Ugarte, extra time) – 6
Stick to your work well.
Leno Yuro (for Maguire, 104) – 6
Did his job well in the last stages of the match. Converted the penalty with confidence in the shoot-out.
