But what really overshadowed the party was the surprise performance by Colombian reggaeton singer Kevin Roldan. According to Roldan, his father initially asked him to perform in New York, but a call from Cristiano Ronaldo himself changed everything. The Portuguese megastar was willing to pay top dollar for Roldan to perform at his birthday party, and it’s alleged that he shelled out a staggering $250,000 for the privilege.
For Roldan, it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and he wouldn’t soon forget the experience. "I remember it perfectly," he recalled in an interview with RadioMarca. "My father called me to tell me that we had a private party in Madrid in two weeks. I told him it was impossible, as we had a show in Mexico… But he told me the request came from Cristiano Ronaldo. Private parties always cost more, but he didn’t hesitate to pay. I don’t like to talk about the money I earn, but at that time, I earned a quarter of a million dollars for shows like that."
The experience was certainly a memorable one for Roldan, who went on to become a regular performer in Spain and beyond. And for Cristiano Ronaldo, it was just another example of his willingness to go all out to create unforgettable experiences for himself and those around him.
