Joao Felix names Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca’s ‘favourite player’ during interview at EA FC event

Joao Felix Reveals Chelsea Manager Enzo Maresca’s ‘Favourite Player’

Chelsea’s Portuguese midfielder Joao Felix has lifted the lid on his manager Enzo Maresca’s ‘favourite player’ during an interview at the EA FC event in London. And it’s not the in-form Cole Palmer, who has been making waves in the Premier League.

Palmer, 22, made history on Saturday by becoming the first player to score four goals in the first half of a Premier League game. His impressive display helped Chelsea secure a 4-2 victory over Brighton at Stamford Bridge.

However, when Felix was asked about Maresca’s ‘favourite player’, he took an awkward pause before answering, "Moi". Moises Caicedo, the Ecuadorian midfielder, has been a key player for Chelsea this season, starting more games than any other player.

Maresca has been full of praise for Caicedo, describing him as a "very important player" and highlighting his defensive prowess. "He’s doing well, especially off the ball, but he can do much better on the ball and be more brave breaking the line," Maresca said.

Caicedo’s impressive form has seen him start more games than any other Chelsea player this season, and Maresca’s comments suggest that he is a key player in the manager’s plans.

It’s worth noting that Palmer has been in excellent form this season, scoring four goals in his last two games. However, it seems that Maresca’s ‘favourite player’ is currently Caicedo.
