Mat Armstrong’s Jaw-Dropping Restoration of Marcus Rashford’s Wrecked Rolls Royce
Manchester United and England star Marcus Rashford’s £700,000 Rolls Royce Wraith was left in shambles after a nasty crash in September 2023. But thanks to YouTuber Mat Armstrong, the luxury vehicle has been transformed into a stunning work of art.
Armstrong, known for his automotive expertise, purchased the wrecked car at an auction for £184,000. He then embarked on a six-month journey to rebuild the vehicle, using his skills and resources to bring it back to its former glory.
The process was no easy feat, with Armstrong facing numerous challenges along the way. "As it’s a special edition Mansory Rolls Royce, parts got expensive really quick," he revealed in a recent video. But the end result is well worth the effort.
The finished product is nothing short of breathtaking. The video shows Armstrong meticulously rebuilding the bodywork, seats, and other parts of the car, using a combination of old and new components. The result is a car that looks and feels like new.
Fans of Armstrong’s YouTube channel have been left stunned by the transformation, with many praising his dedication and skills. "How this car has come along is a madness, a true show of dedication," wrote one fan. Another commented, "Mate I think I now trust you more than the original car companies, You’re the best mate."
The rebuild has also sparked debate among car enthusiasts, with some arguing that the car should be kept as a trophy and not sold. "This car should be kept and not sold. This is a trophy car, a settlement to show how far you’ve come from the Audi in the car park to your own Mansory RR rebult in your own workshop," wrote one fan.
As for Rashford, it’s unclear whether he’ll get to see the finished product in person. But if he does, it’s sure to be a memorable experience. "If Marcus doesn’t come and inspect this car in person, it would be criminal! He needs to be a special guest," wrote another fan.
