Max Verstappen reveals which shock Premier League club he supports after awkward moment with Kevin De Bruyne

Max Verstappen Reveals His Premier League Allegiance: Manchester United

In a recent chat with transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, reigning Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen spilled the beans on his favorite Premier League team. And, drumroll please… it’s none other than Manchester United! The 26-year-old Dutch driver revealed that Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne gave him a City t-shirt, but he politely declined, saying he’s a Red Devils fan at heart.

Verstappen’s love for Manchester United isn’t a one-off, though. He’s also a big fan of Dutch club PSV Eindhoven, which is closer to his heart, given his family ties with the club. In a previous interview, he opened up about how his father’s sponsorship deal with Philips led to him attending PSV matches, and he’s been hooked ever since.

F1 Form Slipping

Meanwhile, Verstappen’s Formula 1 form has taken a hit lately. After finishing sixth in the Italian Grand Prix, he was left frustrated, citing issues with his car’s strategy and pit stop. Despite his best efforts, he felt like he was driving with less power, making it tough to compete. The Red Bull star also admitted that they’re not likely to win any more races this season, given their current pace.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is up next, and it’ll be interesting to see how Verstappen and his team bounce back. Will they be able to turn their fortunes around, or will they continue to struggle?
