Trent Alexander-Arnold’s ‘Three’ Gesture to Man Utd Fans Has Mohamed Salah Stepping In – But What’s the Deal with His Contract?
The Liverpool star certainly knows how to rub it in after a big win over their bitter rivals. The 25-year-old England international was spotted making a cheeky ‘three’ gesture to Manchester United fans as he left the field after the Reds’ dominant 3-0 win at Old Trafford.
Luis Diaz opened the scoring for Liverpool in the 12th minute, capitalizing on a mistake by Casemiro, and the Colombian forward added another just before halftime. Mohamed Salah sealed the win for Liverpool with a goal just 11 minutes into the second half.
But while Alexander-Arnold might have been celebrating his side’s victory, he couldn’t resist taking a parting shot at the dispirited United fans as he made his way back to the Liverpool team bus. The right-back grinned and waved three fingers in the face of the jeering home crowd, clearly enjoying his side’s dominance.
Luckily, Salah was on hand to calm things down and prevent any potential escalation, telling Alexander-Arnold to knock it off.
Liverpool fans, of course, loved every minute of it, with one social media user commenting, "And people think he wants to go. He’s having the time of his life out there!" Another fan wrote, "Trent just gets it, he absolutely despises United!"
But what’s on the horizon for Alexander-Arnold? The English full-back has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Anfield and has been linked with a move to Real Madrid. Will he stay loyal to the Reds or chase a new challenge in the Spanish capital?
