Chelsea star booed against Wolves for what he said in deleted social media post

Chelsea Star Booed by Wolves Fans for Bizarre Reason

Noni Madueke, the Chelsea winger, was subjected to a hostile reception from Wolverhampton Wanderers fans during Sunday’s Premier League clash at Molineux. The England Under-21 international was loudly jeered every time he touched the ball, and it’s easy to understand why.

In a bizarre turn of events, Madueke had posted a since-deleted Instagram story where he described Wolverhampton as "s***". The comment was shared with his 966,000 followers before he quickly deleted it. While it’s unclear whether the comment was meant to be serious or not, it’s clear that Wolves fans took offense to it.

Chelsea travelled to the West Midlands looking to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in their season opener. They made a strong start, with Nicolas Jackson heading home after just two minutes. However, the Blues were unable to build on this early momentum, and Wolves eventually equalized through a late goal.

Madueke’s poor form in front of goal was a major factor in Chelsea’s struggles. The 20-year-old has struggled to find his footing in the Premier League, and his mistakes were pounced upon by the Wolves fans. Despite his talent, Madueke needs to work on his consistency and decision-making if he’s to become a regular starter for Chelsea.
