Arsenal working on blockbuster signing who will help them win the Premier League title

Arsenal’s Shocking Transfer Target Revealed: Can They Pull Off a Massive Signing?

Arsenal are reportedly working on a blockbuster signing that could give them a huge boost in their Premier League title ambitions. After failing to knock Manchester City off their perch for the last two seasons, the Gunners have been quiet in the transfer market, with only the £42 million capture of Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna to show for it.

However, Corriere dello Sport claims that Arsenal are back on the trail for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who is also admired by Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain. The three-time Serie A champions are said to be willing to accept a £85 million bid for the 25-year-old, who has scored 76 goals and laid on 18 assists in 133 appearances for Napoli.

Osimhen is one of the best strikers around, and his arrival could be a game-changer for Arsenal. The Nigerian international has already shown his quality in the Serie A, and his pace, power, and finishing ability would be a welcome addition to the Gunners’ attack.

However, Arsenal are not the only ones interested in Osimhen. Chelsea are still working towards bringing Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan, and the two parties are yet to agree a deal. Meanwhile, Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres is seen as an alternative, but his £85 million release clause is a major stumbling block.

A striker is still seen as a priority for the North London club, with Eddie Nketiah available for the right transfer fee and Gabriel Jesus struggling since his move to the Emirates Stadium. Kai Havertz played centrally for large spells last season and started the new campaign with a goal and an assist against Wolves last weekend.
